Sharon Walters

Sharon Walters, MS, OTR/L has been an occupational therapist for 20 years. She has a broad range of experiences including working with the elderly, folks diagnosed with brain injury, acute care hospitals, LTACH, schools, pediatric outpatient, and teletherapy. Before becoming an occupational therapist, Sharon was an music therapist whose primary focus was working with people who were living in long term care. Sharon uses her musical abilities as well as her love of humor to connect with young and old during her treatment sessions. She believes in "thinking outside of the box" as everyone is different. Volition and motivation are important factors to improved health and reaching mutually agreed upon goals. This is her philosophy when working with any age group.
