Kenyani Shanai Henderson began her career as Occupational Therapist (OT) in 2014 at Genesis HealthCare Westfield Center, sub-acute and long-term care facility. In 2015, Kenyani transitioned to working in pediatrics for Ardor Healthcare Agency, working in multiple school districts. She is currently employed for Trinitas Children’s Therapy Services servicing as a school based therapist. She formerly worked for Therapy Tree Pediatric Clinic (Cranford, NJ) and Children's Specialized Hopsital's Neuro Rehabilitation department (Mountainside, NJ). Kenyani is the owner of Soul Xpressiion School of the Arts, servicing typical developing children/adults as well those with various learning, behavioral disabilities and Autism. She is currently an adjunct professor in the School of Education Department at Seton Hall University and serves on the Seton Hall Graduate Medical School’s Advisory Board. In 2017, Kenyani received an award for “Best in Education” from NJ Black Businesses Organization and a recipient of NJ Family Magazine’s “2017 NJ’s Favorite Kids Docs” for Occupational Therapy. She supports Autism Walks, volunteers at an annual Santa Autism friendly event, and is a member of NJOTA and AOTA (since 2009). Most importantly, Kenyani dedicates all that she does to the Lord, servicing as a Dance Director at Resting Place House of Pray and helping to establish various community based worship events throughout the year for children and adults. She believes it is her God-given purpose to ensure others achieve their dreams and “live life to the fullest!”
